SOUTH Korea: Sogang University

A summer in Seoul with AIFS gives students the perfect blend of heritage and history in a city that is on the cutting edge of creativity, whether that be art and architecture, cuisine, fashion or business. Choose from a range of course options at Sogang University, one of Seoul’s top research universities. Located in the bustling area of Sinchon, right in the heart of Seoul, students can have easy access to everything that Seoul has to offer, from world-class museums and art galleries to the best fresh food and exciting nightlife, festivals, theater and sports events as well as exploring the areas outside Seoul.

Where You'll Study

Sogang University is rated among the top universities in Seoul and for local students the entrance process is very competitive. There are approximately 8000 students, 1350 of which are international giving the university a strong international atmosphere. Sogang has a modern campus offering excellent facilities to students, including indoor training areas and outdoor sports fields, music venues and practice rooms, cafeterias, grocery stores, bookstores, libraries, and much more. There are also many clubs and organizations open to students on campus that cover all interests, K-pop, the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, film, photography, and magic, through to a club for people studying marketing and a debating society and volunteering opportunities. The university also puts on various festivals and events throughout the year to welcome new students and to allow them to sign up for the clubs.
