IFSAOnline: A Digital Network of Global Internships & Classes

About the Program
Stay on track for your degree and build career momentum online. Harness the power of global connections by networking with international instructors and fellow students from across the country in this unique and affordable learning opportunity. You can build your own experience with a combination of remote, project-based internships and IFSA-curated classes in areas such as psychology, health sciences, economics, Spanish, political science, or marketing and communications.
  • Build your curriculum with IFSA-curated courses – participate in either the first or second session independently, or combine the sessions for maximum benefit.
  • Jump start your career journey with a remote, project-based internship at an international company or non-profit organization located in Barcelona, Bueno Aires,  Mérida (Mexico), Prague, Rome, or Shanghai.
  • Study alongside a cohort of U.S. students from the comfort of home.
Customize your summer in a way that works best for you!

Choose up to two 3 U.S. semester credit hour classes from one or both of our shorter summer online sessions—or combine sessions for eight weeks to complete an IFSA internship, earning 3 U.S. semester credit hours and valuable work experience. You can add classes to that experience for up to a total of 12 U.S. credit hours for the summer.

IFSA courses are taught by English-speaking faculty (and Spanish-speaking for the Spanish courses) from various higher education and professional institutions around the world, who combine theoretical and practical expertise in their chosen subject area.

IFSA-curated courses explore contemporary topics in economics and political science, Spanish, communication and marketing, health and psychology. Not all courses may be offered in a given session depending on enrollment.
