Are you enthusiastic about study abroad?

Would you like to share your study abroad experience with your peers and encourage them to study abroad?

Looking for more opportunities to enhance your résumé?

Consider becoming a Study Abroad Peer Advisor!

Peer Advisors are an invaluable resource for encouraging other students to study abroad. This program allows past study abroad participants the opportunity to help and support their peers through the study abroad process by being able to share their own experiences, insights and travel knowledge.

Peer Advisors assist in advising, program planning, classroom presentations, informational sessions, marketing, and pre-departure orientations, and the Study Abroad Fair. While this is a volunteer position, we are asking for students that are willing to commit 5 hours a week to being a Study Abroad Peer Advisor.

At the end of each semester, Peer Advisors will receive a $250 thank you stipend.

Peer Advisors can apply for either a semester long or academic year long position.

Requirements to become a Study Abroad Peer Advisor:

1. Must have a commitment and enthusiasm for study abroad
2. Must be available at least 5 hours a week
3. Fill out the online application by the corresponding semester deadline.
