Choosing cusco
Cusco, situated in the Peruvian Andes Mountains, is conveniently located near Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Much of the architecture in present-day Cusco is a blend of Inca and Spanish colonial construction, and today, the city preserves its culture in colorful dress, lively music and the use of both the Quechua and Spanish languages.
