The Business Manager for the Division of International Affairs, can help you understand the costs of study abroad, and compare programs based on cost. In some cases, the budget to study abroad for a semester can be little more than the budget to study in DeKalb for a semester! In other cases, study abroad can be much more expensive. In either case, the Business Manager will be able to help you make sense of the costs involved. 

The Business Manager works with the Financial Aid office to help you determine whether your current financial aid package (grants and/or loans) will apply to study abroad, or whether you can secure additional funding (even if you don't currently receive financial aid). The Business Manager also has information on different scholarship opportunities available for study abroad. Working with the International Affairs Business Manager has made study abroad possible for many students who didn't think they could afford to study abroad!
