Paris College of Art (PCA) is a premier art and design school firmly rooted in the rich artistic landscape of the French capital. For over 30 years the school has provided both visiting and degree-seeking students the opportunity to explore and participate in the unrivaled Parisian art scene while developing their portfolio under the guidance of respected industry professionals. With courses taught in English by a world-class faculty of artists, designers, and industry professionals, PCA serves a truly international student body, with members representing over 50 nationalities.

Since becoming a fully independent degree-granting institution in 2010, Paris College of Art has moved into a newly refurbished historic building in the culturally rich 10th Arrondisement. This vibrant neighborhood is full of art studios, textile stores, creative agencies, and myriad cafes and restaurants. Students are encouraged to take advantage of such urban vitality and to use the city as an extended classroom. In addition, PCA’s close connections within the local art and fashion scenes allow students unparalleled opportunities for hands-on engagement with fashion shows and gallery events throughout Paris.

UNDERGRADUATE SEMESTER
(Fall or Spring semesters / 12-19 credits)
The undergraduate semester at PCA is designed for students seeking to engage in a Parisian-flavored investigation of creative expression, either as a supplement to an art degree or as a first inquiry into an unfamiliar subject. Visiting students may choose to enroll in one of several predesigned Concentrations, or to craft their own Individualized Concentration drawing upon the vast array of art, design, management, and humanities courses offered at PCA.

SUMMER I: INTENSIVE SUMMER SESSION
(4 Weeks)
PCA offers a 4-week intensive summer program, designed to help students deepen their understanding and sharpen their skills in a variety of subjects, including fine arts, design management, fashion, photography and many others. Summer courses typically combine classroom work with excursions to various sites around the city.

SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa preparation, housing, student health insurance, transcripts and cell phone service. In addition, SAI provides comprehensive student services, beginning with pre-departure and leading to our on-site orientation.
